As Long Island gets controlled by Snow today, there is a hockey game to be played. 6'4" 207 lb Jesse Joensuu has been called up from Bridgeport to make his NHL debut and replace the once-again-sitting Bill Guerin (I'll have more on that topic today, hopefully).
Bridgeport has played 3 games in 3 days coming into tonight, which will mark Joensuu's 4th game in 4 days. Joensuu has tallied 17 goals and 13 assists in 56 games for Bridgeport this season.
Tonight's game against the Avalanche will be broadcasted nationally on Versus and Versus HD.
