Pre-Game Post: Pens @ Isles 11/3/07 7:00PM

Isles (6-4-0) vs. Penguins (6-5-1)

The Isles celebrate Al Arbour night tonight for their 11th game of the season.

Tonight is a very special night. Al Arbour is coaching his 1,500th game, so things will be different from the bench. If the Isles win tonight, it will be Arbour's 740 career win.

The Isles will look different as well. They will be wearing their white sweaters, which include a 1,500 patch on the lower part of the shoulder.

ISLANDERS:
I feel really confident about the Isles tonight. Coming off of a great win, they should be very well motivated. DP should still be hot after his shutout Thursday, so we should be in pretty good shape as far as that goes. The one problem for the game is the loss of Bergy. It should only be for this game, but it could still cause a problem. Who do we bring up? With the blink of an eye I say to throw Bates in the lineup. Of course, we could always bring up Tambellini or Bootland. Maybe even someone else.

UPDATE: It is Ben Walter getting the call tonight. Wow!

-My Projected Lines-

Goaltender
39 Rick DiPietro
34 Wade Dubielewicz

Defensemen
25 Andy Sutton – 47 Marc-Andre Bergeron
32 Brendan Witt – 24 Radek Martinek
14 Chris Campoli – 8 Bruno Gervais

Forwards
26 Ruslan Fedotenko – 89 Mike Comrie – 7 Trent Hunter
11 Andy Hilbert – 18 Mike Sillinger – 13 Bill Guerin
10 Richard Park – 63 Josef Vasicek – 81 Miroslav Satan
12 Chris Simon – 29 Ben Walter – 2 Aaron Johnson

PENGUINS:
When you hear, "Penguins", you think Sidney Crosby. The young All-Star has 7 goals and 12 assists already, and is all braced up for more. It is always a challenge to face this team. The one weakness is the goaltending, though. Marc-Andre Fleury is not your guy if you want low GAA. This could be a very high-scoring game, from all I know.
