Draft Day. It's the most exciting time of the year for us Islander fans. And this year, the excitement is at a new high. Not many people seem to have a clue who will be drafted 1st overall. I have to congratulate Garth Snow on being able to hide his selection from the fans and media for so long. He has done a fantastic job.
A lot of big trades may fall into place in the hockey world today, with names like Kaberle, Lecavalier, Heatley, Pronger, and Bouwmeester.
Every trade, and every first round draft pick will be covered here at Islander Zone. No matter who the Islanders select, this is a big day for Islander Country.
