Weighting for 1,000

As Mike Comrie netted his second goal of the game on Wednesday, Doug Weight became 1 point closer to achieving the milestone of 1,000 career points.

"We had the lead and we were playing pretty good, so I was thinking about it a little bit. It's hard not to, you're thinking about hunting it down and getting it over with," said Weight in an interview following the game on Wednesday.
