The Islanders made a couple transactions this morning, as defenseman Jack Hillen was recalled from Bridgeport. He will be subbing for Chris Campoli who is day-to-day with a strained groin.
Also, Peter Mannino has been sent down, opening speculation of Dany Sabourin possibly being traded to the Isles. Sabourin was acquired by Edmonton yesterday, but the Oilers told him not to even report to Edmonton, as they are looking to trade him promptly.
